Morristown: Walter Duluna Cox, Jr. passed away at Morristown Medical Center on Sunday, January 16, 2022. He was 85 years of age.
Walter was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He lived in Ohio and Pinebrook, NJ before moving to Morristown in 1962.
Mr. Cox was the Lead Mechanic for US Air at Newark Airport for 51 years, retiring in 1995.
Predeceased by his loving wife, Hildegard (née Regn) in December of 2021, his son, Walter Joseph Cox in November of 2021 and his grandson, "Junior".
Survived by his beloved three daughters:
Patricia Cox.
Diane S. Cox-Stilwell.
Cathy Morrison-Cox.
Six cherished Grandchildren:
Caitlin Morrison.
Joey Morrison.
Shannon.
Christy Cox.
Chelsie Cox.
Miranda Cox.
Visitation will be held 11am to 12 Noon on Monday, January 24, 2022 at the Bermingham Funeral Home, 216 S. Main St., Wharton.
A funeral service will be held 12 Noon also at the funeral home, after the visitation.
Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover.
