Thomas Francis Kelly

Chester:   Thomas Francis Kelly passed away on November 22, 2023 at Morristown Medical Center.  He was 87 years of age.

Thomas was born in Dover to the late Thomas and Mary Kelly, and raised in Mine Hill.  He lived in Chester for the past 50 years.  He worked as a Union Electrician for the IBEW Local 581 since the age of 18.  He was an avid reader, fisherman, and hunter.  Turkey hunting was his favorite.  He was a man with great love for his family and faith.

He was predeceased by his wife Bernice “Dolly”, son Thomas and his wife Doreen and brother Gerald.

He is survived by his two children; daughter Colleen and son Michael.

Visitation will be held 4-7pm on Wednesday November 29, at the Bermingham Funeral Home, 216 S. Main St., Wharton.  A Funeral Mass will be held 11am on Thursday November 30, at St. Mary’s Church in Wharton.  Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Mine Hill.
