Thelma Ladlee Cowan

Mt. Olive Township:  Thelma Ladlee Cowan passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2023 at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center.  She was 84 years of age.

Thelma was born in Phillipsburg, NJ and was raised in the Ledgewood section of Roxbury Township, living in the Budd Lake section of Mt. Olive.

Mrs. Cowan was a former bus driver for the Hopatcong schools and retired from the Roxbury School System as a bus aide before retirement.

She liked to visit flea markets and yard sales.  She enjoyed camping with family and visiting the Seashore.

Predeceased by her husband Norman Ladlee and her last husband John Cowan as well as her daughter Tina Marie Shaw in 2022.

Survived by:

Daughter:  Sandra Rudalf and her husband John.

Four Grandchildren:  Brandon Rudalf, Emily Rudalf, Amanda Shaw and Craig Lang.

Also survived by her Son-In-Law, William S. Shaw.

Visitation will be held 4-7pm on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at the Bermingham Funeral Home, 216 S. Main St., Wharton.

A funeral service will follow the visitation, also at the funeral home.

Interment will be private.
