Sonia (Kedala) Blazo

Sonia Blazo, 86, of Landing, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2026.

She was born on October 27, 1939, in New York City. 

She is survived by her sons, Rudy Blazo of Fairfax, VA, and Stephen Blazo of Monroe Township, NJ; her grandson Felix Blazo of Monroe Township, NJ; her brother and sister Very Reverend Samuel and Joanne Kedala of Wantage, NJ, her nieces and nephews, and countless friends and former colleagues whose lives she touched.  She was predeceased by her husband Rudy Blazo, and her sister Nadia Ferraz.  

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2026, from 5-8pm, at Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, 120 Dover Chester Road, Randolph, NJ 07869.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 22, 2026 at 9:30am at Holy Trinity, followed by interment in St. Vladimir's Cemetery in Jackson, NJ.  Family and friends are welcome.
