Sharon L. (Leek) Casey

Wharton:  Sharon L. Casey (née Leek) passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at Paragon Village in Hackettstown.  She was 78 years of age.

Sharon was born in Greenville, NY and was raised in Franklin, NJ and lived most of her life in Wharton.

Mrs. Casey worked at Picatinny Arsenal for many years, took time off to raise her children and later worked for the Wharton and Rockaway Boro schools as an aide, retiring in the early 2000s.

She was a member of the Wharton Presbyterian Church and the Wharton Seniors.  She loved to bake, sew and spend all the time she could with her grandchildren.

Predeceased by her husband Patrick W. in 2020.

Survived by her two daughters:

Beth Harland and husband Andy of Franklin.

Tara McCormick and husband Patrick of Cape May.

Also survived by three Granddaughters; Ashley, Kristine & Taylor.

Visitation will be held 3-6pm on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at the Bermingham Funeral Home, 216 S. Main St., Wharton.

A funeral service will be held 11am on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Interment will follow at Locust Hill Cemetery, Dover.
