Succasunna: Scott J. Sevret passed away suddenly on August 17, 2023. He was 59 years of age.
Scott was born and raised in Mt. Hope & Rockaway Twp. He graduated from Morris Knolls High School.
He was very outgoing, funny and always a free spirit. Scott’s favorite team was the NY Giants. He loved to watch football.
He had so many great stories from his travels and work around the world with the Merchant Marines for almost 30 years. Before that, he was a welder. His dream was to be an underwater welder one day.
He loved anything with water and outdoors…boats, ships, the Shore, Mt. Hope Pond and just sitting outside with good music always playing.
He was predeceased by his father, Lt. Jack Sevret in 1982 and his mother, Patricia Sevret just 7 months ago on January 2nd.
He is survived by his 2 sisters and 1 brother:
Kim Sevret.
Alyson Sevret Bower (Joe Rewick) .
Ed Sevret.
He is also survived by his 3 nephews:
Christian, Ed and Greg.
A celebration of life is to be determined at a later date.
