Ruth Corry Obituary
Wharton: Ruth Frances Corry (nee Jewell) passed away peacefully on Sunday October 17, 2021 at St. Clare's Hospital in Dover after a short illness. She was 92 years of age.
Born on August 13, 1929 in Wharton to the late Frank Jewell and Alice Jewell (nee Lewis). Ruth lived there until her recent death.
Ruth worked for Jewell and Loughlin and Picatinny Arsenal.
Ruth was married to George Corry of Rockaway for over sixty years. He predeceased her in October 2015.
Ruth is survived by her daughter, Sharon Dukin and husband Kevin of Wharton and son Brian Corry and wife Anna also of Wharton. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Craig Dukin and wife Megan, Brent Dukin and wife Melissa, Derek Corry and Kyle Corry.
A funeral service will be held 10am on Wednesday October 20, 2021 at the Bermingham Funeral Home, 216 S. Main Street, Wharton. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Mine Hill.
