Roxbury Twp: Rubén T. Olaechea falleció en paz, rodeado de su familia, el sábado 11 de noviembre de 2023 en Dover, New Jersey. Tenía 76 años.
Rubén nació en Pullo, provincia de Parinacochas, Ayacucho, Perú. Fue un orgulloso ciudadano pullino habiendo servido honoríficamente, por muchos años como tesorero del Centro Social Pullo por su capacidad gerencial y honradez.
Se graduó como administrador de empresas en la Universidad Federico Villarreal, en Lima, Perú. Mientras asistía a la universidad, trabajaba para apoyar económicamente a su familia. Trabajó en el Banco de Lima por varios años, y después en la Empresa Siderúrgica del Perú (SIDERPERU) por 25 años, donde ejerció como subgerente de finanzas.
Años después, emigró a los Estados Unidos, y al igual que toda su familia, residió en New Jersey. Trabajó en la empresa Gannett Media Company por algunos años y donde cultivó muchas amistades.
Le sobreviven su compañera Nelly Antúnez; cuatro hijos y sus cónyuges, Vanessa Olaechea y Rodrigo Sanabria; Michael y Lizeth Mónica Lamberti y Gina Escobar, Rubén Christian Olaechea. También le sobreviven sus nietos, Jake, Marcella y Daniel. Le sobreviven también sus hermanas Carmen Rojas, Gina Olaechea e Isabel Olaechea; y sus hermanos David Olaechea y Carlos Olaechea. Por último, le sobreviven sus perritos, Inti y Chuvi, a quienes adoraba absolutamente.
Rubén era ante todo un excelente hijo y hermano, un padre dedicado, un tío amoroso y el mejor abuelo. Su familia lo era todo para él.
Las visitas se llevarán a cabo 5-8pm el jueves, 16 de noviembre 2023 en Bermingham Funeral Home, 216 S. Main St., Wharton.

Roxbury Twp: Ruben T. Olaechea passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Saturday, November 11, 2023; in Dover, New Jersey. He was 76 years old.
Ruben was born and raised in Pullo, province of Parinacochas, Ayacucho, Peru. He was a proud citizen of Pullo having served honorably for many years as treasurer of the Pullo Social Center due to his managerial ability and honesty.
He graduated as a business administrator from Federico Villarreal University in Lima, Peru. While attending university, he worked to financially support his family. He worked at Banco de Lima for several years, and then at Empresa Siderurgica del Perú (SIDERPERU) for 25 years, where he served as finance assistant manager.
Years later, he emigrated to the United States and, like all his family, resided in New Jersey. He worked at Gannett Media Company for a number of years and cultivated many friendships.
He is survived by his partner Nelly Antunez; four children and their spouses, Vanessa Olaechea and Rodrigo Sanabria; Michael and Lizeth Monica Lamberti; Gina Escobar, and Ruben Christian Olaechea. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Jake, Marcella and Daniel. He is also survived by his sisters Carmen Rojas, Gina Olaechea and Isabel Olaechea; and his brothers David Olaechea and Carlos Olaechea. Finally, he is survived by his dogs, Inti and Chuvi, whom he absolutely adored.
Ruben was first and foremost an excellent son and brother, a dedicated father, a loving uncle and the best grandfather. His family was everything to him.
Visitation will be held 5-8pm on Thursday, November 16, 2023; at the Bermingham Funeral Home, 216 S. Main St., Wharton.
