Robert G. Oldham

Robert G. Oldham, 79, of Jefferson, New Jersey, passed away at his home on May 22, 2026. Born in Newark, NJ to Vincent and Odile Oldham, Bob lived a life filled with laughter, friendship, generosity, and an appreciation for the simple things that mattered most.

Bob grew up in Rutherford, NJ and later raised his family in North Arlington before spending the last 16 years of his life at Lake Hopatcong, a place he truly loved and proudly called home. He enjoyed life on the lake, especially boating, relaxing by the water, and welcoming friends and family with his warm and open-hearted nature. Bob had an easygoing spirit and a kindness that made people feel comfortable the moment they met him.

Bob proudly served in the United States Army and later built a career as a Tech Support Manager, where he was respected for his knowledge, reliability, and willingness to lend a helping hand whenever needed.

He was predeceased by his brother, Glenn Oldham. Bob is survived by his brother, William Oldham; his son, Robert Oldham and wife Daniela; his daughter, Laura Oldham; his beloved grandson, Matthew Oldham; and his niece and nephew, Kate and Brian Oldham, along with many extended family members and dear friends who will miss him deeply.

Bob will be remembered for his generous heart, his great sense of humor, and the genuine warmth he shared with everyone around him. He leaves behind countless memories and a lasting impression on all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 28, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Bermingham Funeral Home in Wharton, New Jersey.

Funeral services will take place Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Bermingham Funeral Home, followed by interment at Northern New Jersey Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 75 North Church Road, Sparta, NJ 07871.
