Robert B King

Newton:  Robert B King passed away peacefully at home on March 1st 2025 surrounded by his family and loving wife of 60 years, Cheryl King. 

Robert was born in Newark, New Jersey to Samuel and Helen King.  He is predeceased by his parents and sister Diane.

Robert proudly served in the United States Air force from 1958-1962.

He settled in Landing NJ with his wife in 1969 where they lived for 50 years and had 2 sons.

He worked for Rowe International in Whippany, New Jersey for 30 years. Robert was very active in the Roxbury Little League baseball program. He was a coach, umpire and president of the program.  He was a collector of baseball cards, especially the New York Yankees, He was a die hard Yankee fan. 

Survived by his wife Cheryl King and 2 sons , David King ( Jen King) and Michael King. His 4 grandchildren, Amanda Richardson, David King ( Bianca King), Breanna King and Ryan King. Recently became a great grandfather to Savannah King. He is survived by his sister Hope ( Pat ) Annuzzi and many nieces and nephews. He also had a special relationship with his loving niece Tara Venturini.

A private ceremony will be held at a later date.
