Patricia Angela (Spadafino) Sotnyk

Jefferson Township:  Patricia A Sotnyk passed away suddenly on November 29, 2022, at her home in Lake Hopatcong, NJ.  She was 70 years of age. 

Patricia, known as Patti-Anne by her friends and family, was born in The Bronx to the late Patrick and Margaret Spadafino.  She was raised in The Bronx and in Cedar Grove, NJ and has lived in Lake Hopatcong for the past 30 years.  She worked as a postal carrier and enjoyed volunteering with local food drives. Patricia loved spending time with her family, getting pedicures and playing with her granddaughter Anastasia, visiting and laughing with her beloved nephews and their families, sharing stories and meals with her sister Chris and her husband Ricky, tending to her garden, and cooking delicious meals.

Patricia was predeceased by her parents.

She is survived by her husband George and her 2 sons Alex and his daughter Anastasia and Bryan and his wife Tess of PA; her devoted sister Christine (née Spadafino) Dilley and her husband Rick, their five sons including Jonathan (Missy) Dilley and their children Michael, Owen, and Ryan; Matthew (Chrissy) Dilley and their children Monica and Mazie; Gregory (Megan) Dilley and their children Shane, Eamon, and Cece; Anthony (Tricia) Dilley and their children Wesley, Grayson, and Darien; loving nephew Christopher Dilley; her loving brother Michael F Spadafino and his wife Pattie; and her loving sister Laurie Spadafino.

A memorial service and mass will be on Saturday, January 14 at 10:30am at Our Lady Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church, 204 Espanong Road, Lake Hopatcong, NJ 07849.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Lady Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church in Patricia’s name.
