Norma "Jean" McConnell

Roxbury Twp.:   Norma "Jean" McConnell departed from this life peacefully at her home in Kenvil on October 25, 2025.  

She was born on September 8, 1930 to Elizabeth and Thomas Barnish.  She married Lawrence McConnell in 1950 and lived in Kenvil during their 57 years of marriage.

She retired in 1989 from Picatinny Arsenal after 38 years of service, then had a part time position for several years at Cigna Healthcare in Rockaway.  She was a member of St. Mary's Church in Wharton.

She was predeceased by her husband Larry in 2008 and her sister Shirley Troha.

She is survived by a son Lawrence F. McConnell of Hanover Township, PA and a daughter Kathleen Wizner Fisher of Kenvil, as well as several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 1pm on Tuesday October 28 at Succasunna Methodist Cemetery.
