Nellie A. (Tarciak) Gallinot

Mine Hill:  Nellie A. Gallinot passed away at her home with her family by her side.  She was 101 years of age.  She was the last surviving child of 16.

Nellie was born to the late John Tarciak and Mary née Plevyak in Carbondale, PA and raised in White’s Crossing, PA.  In the early 1950’s she moved to Rockaway Borough, NJ and has lived in Mine Hill since 1956.

Mrs. Gallinot was an inspector at Howmet Aerospace of Dover for many years.

She was a longtime parishioner of St. Mary’s Church, Dover and was a member of their Happy Hours Club.  She also belonged to the Mine Hill Good Years Club.

Nellie enjoyed Crocheting, playing various card games to include Pinochle & 500 Rummy as well as making perogies which the secrets of, have be taught to the grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Predeceased by her husband John F., Gallinot, Sr. and her son, Robert Gallinot.

Survived by her three children.

Visitation will be held 12 Noon to 3pm on Sunday, January 8, 2023 at the Bermingham Funeral Home, 216 S. Main St., Wharton, NJ 07885.

A funeral mass will be held 11AM on Monday, January 9th at St. Mary’s Church, For GPS Only:   371 South Main Street, Wharton, NJ 07885.

Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hurd St., Mine Hill.
