Michael Rosa, originally from Wharton, NJ, passed away January 15th. He was 57.
Born in Denville, he grew up in Wharton, and graduated from Morris Hills High School in 1982. He later attended William Patterson College.
Michael worked as a Pipe Fitter for Local Union 274.
He left Wharton and was a long time resident of Glasser, NJ, or what the locals call "The Hill". He enjoyed living in this community and often spoke of the parties he attended on his street. Michael loved to spend summers on his boat with family, friends, and his faithful dog, Hannibal. Michael will be remembered as the friendly guy who was always willing to lend a helping hand but would seldom ask for help.
Michael is predeceased by this father, Luis Rosa, Sr.
He is survived by his mother, Jessie Rosa, His sister, Doris Lawrence, his brother, Luis Rosa, Jr.(Julie), and his sister Juanita Rosa(Robert). He also leaves behind four nephews; William Lawrence, Michael Lawrence, Michael Rosa and Joseph Rosa. And Hannibal.
Visitation will be held 4-6:30pm on Wednesday January 20, at the Bermingham Funeral Home, 216 S. Main St., Wharton. A Funeral service will be held at 6:30pm Interment will be private.
