Mary Ann Kurash passed peacefully on November 25, 2025 at Victoria Mews Assisted Living in Boonton, New Jersey at the age of 103. Born in Taylor, Pennsylvania on March 19, 1922, Mary Ann lived in Hawley, Pennsylvania, moving to Dover, New Jersey in 1945.
Mary Ann worked in silk mills in Pennsylvania and in Dover, and at the Walzer Puzzle Factory. She worked for RCA Records in Rockaway, New Jersey as a press operator for 23 years, retiring in 1983.
She liked gardening and loved to crochet and play Bingo. She liked animals.
She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church in Dover and was a Eucharistic minister. She was a member of Sacred Heart Leisure Club, the Dover Seniors, and the Catholic Daughters of America Court Dover 881.
She was predeceased by her parents, Albert and Eva Kurash, her sister, Tillie Bowman, and her daughter-in-law, Diane Egli. She is survived by a son, Edward Egli, granddaughter, Lynette Guerino, niece Katherine Shernce, and several great-nieces.
Visitation and a short prayer service will be held 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, December 1, 2025 at Bermingham Funeral Home.
A private burial will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2025.
