Parsippany: Mary E. Werner (née Dunn), born on January 14th, 1932 in Wharton, NJ, died on July 5th, 2022 at her residence in Genesis of Troy Hills Center, Parsippany.
Mary was predeceased by her parents, Edward B. Dunn, Sr. and Helen R. (Martin) Dunn. Her husband, Maxwell (Bucky) Werner and her brothers; Edward B. Dunn, Jr. and Joseph G. Dunn as well as her niece Susan Jamieson, great nephew Adam Ficarra and her grandniece, Madison Plotts.
Mary is survived by her sister Helen T. (Dunn) Jamieson of Green Township, NJ. Her nieces, Theresa (Jamieson) Casella of Green Township and Elizabeth (Dunn) Ortiz of Long Valley. Her nephew, Edward B. Dunn, III. Also survived by several great nieces and nephews and several grand nieces and nephews.
Mary was deeply devoted to and passionate about the Felician order of the Nuns. She volunteered endlessly and was always willing to lend a helping hand where needed.
Mary had retired from Picatinny Arsenal after over 47 years of service as a Program Analyst.
Mary was passionate about traveling and made the pilgrimage to Italy to meet Pope John Paul. She had a strong admiration and profound love for her entire family.
Services will be private.
