Mary P. (Pless) Lombardi

With deep sadness, the family of Mary P. Lombardi, age 97, announce her passing on Saturday, September 26th, 2020 at home in Succasunna. Mary, known as “Pat” to her family and friends, was born in Lodi, NJ to the late Martin Pless and Olive Curtis in 1923. She married the love of her life, Joseph A. Lombardi, in 1949 and raised a family in Little Falls before moving to Florida in 1969, where she lived for 50 years.

Mary will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many who hold her dear. She treasured her family and pets, enjoyed traveling the world with her husband of 56 years, and was a gracious hostess of many large and festive holiday celebrations. She is dearly missed by her family, who will always be inspired by her generosity, her spunk, and her boundless energy and love.

She is reunited in heaven with her beloved husband, Joseph A. Lombardi, and her loving son, Gerard K. Lombardi, along with her parents and many other relatives. Surviving is her son Joseph K. Lombardi (Blanca) of FL, daughter Lori Rebernik (John) of Succasunna NJ, and daughter-in-law Patricia Lombardi (FL).  Mary also leaves behind precious grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a large extended family.

A 1:00 PM graveside service for Mary will be held on Wednesday, October7, 2020 at St. Nicholas Cemetery, 2 Terrace Ave, Lodi, NJ 07644. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to the Morris County Meals On Wheels program or an animal welfare charity.
