Marilyn Ann (Vecere) Unick

Marilyn Ann Unick, 74, of Sparta passed away peacefully on Saturday November 1st 2025.

Born in Newark, NJ, on September 12, 1951, Marilyn grew up in Belleville, NJ and then moved to Fort Lauderdale, FL where she graduated High School. After returning to New Jersey she met Lawrence Unick in 1975 and they married in 1977. 

As an administrative assistant in various insurance and legal offices such as Westinghouse, Chubb Insurance and The Hartford she was known for her quick wit, sense of humor and organizational skills. After retirement she worked part time at the B&D Investment Group in Sparta. Having a love for animals, Marilyn frequently contributed to Father John's Animal House in Lafayette, NJ.

She is preceded by her late husband Lawrence Unick and survived by her two sons Ethan Unick of Hopewell and Jarret Unick of Sparta, her sister Phyllis Campbell and beloved cat Lynx.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Father John’s Animal House in Lafayette, NJ.

Everyone is invited to her Memorial Visitation 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm, Saturday, November 15th 2025 at the Bermingham Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Wharton, NJ.

Interment will be private.
