Margie Fetchik Obituary

Margie “Jane” Fetchik, 91, Glasgow, passed away Sunday, September 19, 2021 at the T J Samson Community Hospital, Glasgow, Kentucky.

Margie was born and raised in Randolph, living in the Mt. Hope section of Rockaway Township for over 50 years before moving to Glasgow in 2017.

Mrs. Fetchik was a retired supervisor and union representative at Lockheed Electronics. Jane had an extremely friendly and outgoing personality. She enjoyed solving puzzles, both word and jumble; walking; gardening; vacationing with family; reading; baking; and sewing. She was an avid church goer.

Survivors include two children: Debra J. Fetchik and William Francis Fetchik, Jr. both of Glasgow; and one sister, Marthaleen Riker of Atlanta, GA.

She was preceded in death by her parents Alvin Riker, Sr. and Elva Utter Riker.

Her husband of 26 years William Francis Fetchik, Sr.

Two sisters: Irene Van Norman and Florence Secula.

Brother:  Alvin Riker, Jr.

Visitation will be held 6-8pm on Friday, September 24 at the Bermingham Funeral Home, 216 S. Main St, Wharton.

A funeral mass will be held 9:30am on Saturday at St. Bernards Parish Church, Mt. Hope.

Interment will follow at Locust Hill Cemetery, Dover.

In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to be made to Alzheimer’s Association.
