Marge was born in Winkeldorf, Germany and immigrated to the United States in 1950 with her parents and siblings where she attended grade school and graduated Morris Hills high school.
While working she attended college at night and graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a BS degree. She worked in industries ranging from space and aeronautics (Reaction Motors), engineering (Keufel & Esser) and computers and telecom (Boeing Computers, AT&T). Marge retired from AT&T in Basking Ridge as Manager, Financial Analysis.
Marge was also an avid skier and a member of the High Life Ski club traveling to Vermont and western ski resorts. She was also a boater and water skier on Lake Hopatcong.
She was a master gardner and lived on Lake Shawnee most of her life and is survived by her brothers and their wives: Max and Ingrid, Bernie and Pam, Frank and Beverly and Dave and Patti and their children. She was affectionately known as “Aunt Marge” by her family.
A funeral mass will be held 11am on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at St. Mary's Church, Wharton. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Mine Hill.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation.
