Margaret (Buckley) Hamilton

Margaret “Peggy” Hamilton, age 90 of Homossasa, Florida peacefully transitioned into eternal rest on February 7, 2021.

Peggy was born in Boston, Massachusetts and was the daughter of John and Marguerite Buckley.  She lived in Newark, NJ, North Cape May, NJ and Homosassa, FL.  
Mrs. Hamilton worked as a telephone operator for AT&T retiring in 1985.  Peggy loved the company and connection to her extensive network of relatives and friends.

Peggy was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Thomas J. Hamilton.  Together they were a formidable force helping others.  She is survived by her two sons, Thomas (Karin), Randolph, NJ and Brian (Judith), Cape May Court House, NJ;.

Four grandchildren, Thomas Hamilton (Gina), David Hamilton (Ashley), Keirsten McPherson (Brian), Erika Hamilton (Chris).

Four great grandchildren, Thomas Hamilton, Cormac McPherson, Eric Hamilton and Greenlee McPherson.

A memorial mass while be held 3:00 PM on August 28th, 2021 at Resurrection Parish, Randolph, NJ.  Family will gather before the Mass at 2:30 PM also at the church.

Private burial was previously held by family only.
