Louis "Tink" Potten, Jr.

Dover:  Louis E Potten, Jr of Dover NJ passed away from a short battle with cancer on December 27th 2025 at Morristown Medical Center with his love Judy "My Girl" by his side. Louis, also known as “Tink” to his family and friends was just 63 years young. Born on April 4th, 1962, to Katherine (Yuhas) Potten and the late Louis E Potten, Sr.  

Louis worked as a Land Surveyor for over 40 years, first beginning in the trade with his late Uncle Danial Yuhas (Spike). During Lou’s spare time, he loved fishing, boating, riding Harley- Davidsons, and going on long rides to find a new, great Diner with his love Judy. He was also a member of the Moose Lodge #541 in Dover, NJ.

Louis is survived by his partner in life, Judy Norman, his mother, Katherine Potten, his sister Shelly Potten Corkery and her husband Tom; his brother Craig M. Potten and his wife Jackie. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces; Alena (Jake), Dustin (Dani), Bethany (Scott), Zackary, and Cali. Great nephews and nieces; Jaxon, Landon, Hailey, Lucy, McKenna and Colson.

Louis was predeceased by his father, Louis E Potten, Sr.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm at the Bermingham Funeral Home, 216 S. Main St., Wharton, NJ 07885, on Friday, January 9, 2026

A Celebration of Life will begin at 5:30 pm immediately following the visitation, also at the funeral home.

Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Tink's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital would be appreciated.
