Lorraine E. (Neubert) Walkowski

Roxbury Township:  Lorraine E. Walkowski, 92, of Berkshire Valley, passed away on Monday, December 26th with her loving husband of 68 years, Edward Walkowski, Sr. by her side. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Lisette Neubert, sister Doris McConnel and son Craig Walkowski.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Edward Walkowski, Jr. and wife Stephanie of North Abington Township, PA, grandchildren Brian Walkowski of Indiana, PA, Heather Walkowski Coombs and husband Brian Coombs of Conshohocken, PA, Michael Walkowski of Old Bridge, NJ, great-grandchildren Hailey and Tyler Coombs of Conshohocken, PA., and nieces and nephews.

Lorraine was a graduate of Dover High School and was a bus driver for the Roxbury and Jefferson Township school districts until her retirement.

She was so proud of the accomplishments of her grandchildren and was thrilled when she became a great-grandmother. She was an avid knitter and would help with canning her husband’s bountiful garden each year. She was a kind, sweet woman and will be greatly missed.

Arrangements are made by Bermingham Funeral Home located 216 S. Main Street, Wharton, NJ.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 30th at 11:45 am.  Family and friends are asked to meet in the parking lot of the funeral home at 11:30am for a procession to St. Mary’s Cemetery in Mine Hill, NJ.
