Jefferson Twp: Lois Elaine Archibald passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at Excel Care, Dover. She was 84 years of age.
Lois was born and raised in Ishpeming, in the upper peninsula of Michigan. She later settled in Lake Shawnee section of Jefferson Twp. 40 years ago.
She was a loving mother and very proud of her family. Lois enjoyed painting, reading, snow and water skiing but most of all she loved holidays and family gatherings.
She was a member of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, Mt. Arlington. She also belonged to the Lake Shawnee Senior Citizens as well as the Lake Hopatcong Senior Citizens.
Predeceased by her husband Tony Archibald and her parents; John Elmer Kielinen and Mayme Susan (Kuisti) & brothers Ronald and Kenneth.

Four Daughters:
Susan Lavin and husband Peter of CT.
Toni Valerio and husband Paul of Mt. Arlington.
Sarah Kelly and husband David of Oak Ridge.
Betsy Kuntz and husband Walter of Lake Shawnee.
Nine Grandchildren:
Nicole Valerio, Erica Collins, Elizabeth Kapetaneas, Emma Nunez-Perez, Matthew Kelly, Bridget Kelly, Jack Kuntz, Colleen Bley & Abigail Kuntz.
Also survived by three Great Grandchildren; Grace, Angela and Maxine.
Funeral services will be private.
