Kenneth “The Farmer” Stanlick of Ledgewood, formerly of Jefferson Township, passed away Friday, August 13, 2021. He was 72.
Born in Jefferson Township, he and his beloved wife, Nancy, were the proud owners of Lindeken Farms in the center of town. A life-long farmer, and a semi-professional pool player, he was happiest when he was out with his wife enjoying a good steak or pork chop. He was a fixture in Jefferson Township, employing hundreds of people before retiring. He retired 4 years ago and made it a point to hit up every restaurant within a 25-mile radius. He loved to play the organ, the banjo, and in high school even the trumpet. He and Nancy would play cards every day and he was never short on trash talk and luck. His luck may have run out, but he will always be remembered by those that knew and loved him as quick-to-laugh, quick-to-love, and quick to be right.
He was predeceased by his parents, Jim and Dorothy Stanlick.
He leaves behind his wife of 52 years, Nancy, whom he loved with all his heart; his oldest daughter, Sherry Rich and her husband Dave and daughter Maddy of Rockaway Borough whom he also loved very much; his youngest daughter Tracey O’Rourke and her husband Billy and their two boys, James and Jack of Randolph, who he cherished as well. He also leaves behind his three sisters, Lori, Lynne, and Linda, one brother, Jim, and several nieces and a nephew. He was a wonderful friend, a devoted husband, a loving father, and a proud Pa. He will be in our hearts forever and will never be forgotten.
Visitation will be held 4-7pm, on Tuesday August 17, at Bermingham Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Wharton. Interment will be private.
