Kathy J. Nees

East Stroudsburg, PA:  Kathy "Kate" Nees, age 64, of East Stroudsburg, PA passed away November 16th.

She is survived by her daughter Emily DeSantiago, her older brother Billy Nees and partner Sunny Epley, her younger brother Kurt Nees and wife Carol, and her niece and nephews Leanne, Jimmy, and Kurt Jr.

Kate grew up in Wharton, NJ and attended Morris Hills High School where she was a cheerleader and was crowned homecoming queen. She more recently lived in Penn Estates where she enjoyed her peaceful home tucked away in nature.

Kate may have had some struggles, but lived life to the fullest. She loved her family, pets, and profession. She would do anything for her loved ones and anyone or anything in need. Her humor will live on forever in those who knew her. Our family is grateful to know that Kate is at peace and with her father William “Bill” Nees, mother Janet, and sister Linda in heaven.

Memorial visitation will be held at Bermingham Funeral Home on November 27th from 3-6pm, all are welcome.

Service to be held around 5:30pm during the visitation.

Interment will be private.
