Joseph Dennis Burian of Wharton passed away June 18th at 71 years young.
Joe enlisted in the National Guard in 1971 and served for 6 years, marrying his long-time wife, PennyJane in 1975.
Joseph was a loving and devoted husband that took pride in every job he ever did to provide for his family. Whether it was welding, operating heavy machinery, driving trucks or driving a tractor at his favorite apple orchard.
Joseph survived a long tough fight with cancer and he was an avid Basset Hound lover.
Joe is preceded in death by his mother, Rosaleen Elizabeth, his father, Joseph Richard, a brother Richard Joseph and a sister-in-law, Madelyn Margaret.
He is survived by his best friend and loving wife, PennyJane, his sisters, Rosalee and Maureen, a brother, Jeffrey and a sister-in-law Kathaleen Ernestine, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, as well as his beloved Anatolian Shepherd, Gibson and Basset Hound, Paddie.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday June 22nd at The Bermingham Funeral Home in Wharton from 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm with a service beginning at 4:30.
