Jose Antonio “ Toño " Guzman passed away on April 13th, 2020 at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center . He was 53 years of age due to complications of Covid-19.

Paterson: Jose was born in Lima , Peru, raised in Jesus Maria and Los Tumis coming to the USA in 1988 pursuing the American Dream.

Toño , is preceded by his Parents Antonio Guzman & Juana Guzman .

He is survived by his wife Maria Vasquez.

Brother: Alfredo.

Sisters: Janet , Rosa Maria, Jades and Claudia.

He is also survived by aunts ,uncles , cousins, nephews and nieces.

He was a big Mets fan and also he had a passion for soccer .

Toño would forever be remembered by his family and friends . YOUR WINGS WERE READY BUT MY HEART WAS NOT.

Jose Antonio Guzman fallecio el 13 de Abril ,2020 en el Hospital St Joseph's a la edad de 53 años por complicaciones del Covid -19.

Toño como lo conociamos todos nacio en Lima Peru , se crio en Jesus Maria y Los Tumis , emigro a los Estados Unidos en el año 1988 en busca del sueño Americano , vivio en New York y sus ultimos años en New Jersey..

Lo preceden en muerte sus padres Antonio y Juana Guzman , le sobrevive su amada esposa Maria Vaquez , su hermano Alfredo , sus hermanas Janet , Rosa Maria ,Jadez y Claudia , sus tias tios , primos y sobrinos . Sin duda Toño deja un gran vacio en quienes lo conocieron fue un gran amante del soccer y baseball . Le encantaba compartir en familia ,cocinar era muy bueno para preparar los tragos para las reuniones familiares , su espiritu siempre relajado con un alma libre asi es como lo recordaremos todos , sobre todo en las reuniones familiares con sus camisas pintorescas donde le deciamos ahi viene el "tsunami" sabemos que no es un adios si no un hasta luego ,donde algun dia todos nos volveremos a ver sin dolor , " TUS ALAS ESTABAN LISTAS PARA VOLAR , MAS NUESTROS CORAZONES NO"
