John “Jack” J. Ruddy of Dover, NJ died peacefully in his home on February 12, 2025. He was 71 years old.
John was a life-long Dover resident and a member of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Wharton, NJ. He graduated from Dover High School in 1972 and attended Lehigh University. John was a devoted son, brother, uncle, and great uncle who deeply valued his connection to his family and community.
“Uncle Jack” is survived by his sisters Marilyn Sutton and her partner Wayne Dombrowski, of Califon, NJ; Cindy and her husband James Quinn of Stanhope, NJ; two nephews Shawn Sutton (wife Angela) of Budd Lake, NJ; and Kyle Sutton (wife Michelle) of Frederick, MD; and his great nephews Landon, Cole, Graham, and Wyatt. John is predeceased by his parents John and Frances Ruddy and his brother Robert.
A celebration of life will be held in Simpson, PA on a future date.
