John P. Bingham

Roxbury Township:  John P. Bingham passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at St. Clare’s Hospital/Dover General.  He was 73 years of age.

John was born and raised in Gastonia, North Carolina and moved to Dover at the age of 17.  He has lived in the Succasunna section of Roxbury Township for the past 15 years.

Mr. Bingham was a color matcher for Protech Powder Coatings of Fairfield for many years, retiring in 2017.  John was a member of the Flanders United Methodist Church.

John is survived by his wife of 54 years, Cathleen (née O’Rourke).

Three Children; Greg, John, Jr. & Kimberley Rhinesmith.

He has 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, with one on the way.

Also survived by his sister, Imajean.

Services will be private.
