Dover: Javier was born in Colombia on October 28 1964, came to the United States in December 1986 and lived in Dover ever since.
At 23 years old he became a house painter. With dedication and hard work he was able to start his own painting business, and deliver high quality results.
Javier was the life of the party he loved to spend time with his friends and family. His grandchildren were his life. He enjoyed listening to music, watching movies and dancing. His favorite part was being able to make families happy with the outcome of his hard work. He loved seafood and salmon was one of his favorites along with a good steak. He also enjoyed going out to eat at restaurants and the ice cream shop. He even loved cooking for his family. Chocolate was his go to food. He loved going on vacation and going to his home country.
Javier loved watching all sports especially soccer, which was his favorite. He was a massive fan of his favorite soccer team, the Colombia team , Deportivo Cali. He was also a Rangers hockey fan, Mets baseball fan and the Jets football fan. He was a jack of all trades and our repair man the man with the most creative mind.
He lived humbly and was the most caring person, always giving to those in need, without hesitation.
Predeceased by his Mother, Maria DeJesus Rojas Montillo.
Survived by his wife Gloria (Amparo) of 40 years.

Visitation will be held 5-9pm on Friday, March 3, 2023 at the Bermingham Funeral Home, 216 S. Main St., Wharton.
A funeral mass will be held 1pm on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at St. Clement Pope & Martyr Roman Catholic Church, 154 Mt. Pleasant Ave, Dover, NJ 07801.
Interment will be private.
