Mine Hill:

James V. Orbe of Mine Hill, New Jersey passed away at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville, NJ on March 17, 2020 surrounded by his loving family. Jim was born in Passaic, New Jersey on April 17, 1946.  He was 73 years of age.

Jim grew up in Clifton, NJ and married Patricia (nee Jacobsen) on October 6, 1979 and resided in Mine Hill, NJ since 1980.

Jim was a graduate of Pope Pius XII Diocesan High School, Passaic, NJ. He attended Rockland Community College, Fairleigh Dickenson University and Dover Business College.
He worked at Sandoz Pharmaceuticals as a Purchasing Agent, Broker/Salesperson for Prudential Realty, Weichert Realtors, Century 21 and was a Merchandiser for Ferolie Corp.

Jim enjoyed boating at Lake Hopatcong, the Jersey shore, photography, taking long walks, reading, and singing in church. He was an active member of St. Mary's Church, Wharton, NJ where he enjoyed St. Mary's Senior Club, bible study and working at the food drive.

He was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, brother, and uncle.

Predeceased by his Father, Carmine Orbe and His Mother, Eleanor (nee Harrison), Brother Lawrence Orbe, sisters Anita McWilliams and Theresa Zisa.

He is survived by his loving wife Patricia (nee Jacobsen) of 40 years. His daughter, Carolyn Summers and her husband Jared of Levittown, PA. Two grandchildren, Paul David Summers and Nicole Rose Summers.

Also survived by his loving sisters, Eleanor Toto and her husband Frank of Clifton, NJ and Mary Beth Thompson of Lakewood, NJ.

A memorial mass will be held 10:30am on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at St. Mary's Church, Wharton.
