James Katsafouros

Montclair:  James Katsafouros passed away on Friday, June 21, 2024 at Arden Courts of West Orange.  He was 93 years of age.

James was born and raised in Newark on Warren Street, graduating from Newark High School.

Mr. Katsafouros was a Manager for IBM for many years until his retirement.

James was a longtime member of Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, Randolph.

He was married to the late Helen (née Tczap) for 66 years.  He is predeceased by his siblings; Angie, Rita and Steve.

He is survived by his three children, Kathryn Gibson, Lynn Katsafouros and George Katsafouros as well as six grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held 9:30am on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at the Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, 120 Dover Chester Rd, Randolph, NJ.

Interment will follow at Locust Hill Cemetery, Dover.
