James Huntley

Wharton:  James Huntley passed away peacefully on October 18, 2018 at Merry Heart Nursing Home in Succasunna. He was 78 years of age.

James was born and raised in Massachusetts and moved to New Jersey in 1963.  He lived in Wharton for the past 48 years.  He worked as a Quality Control Inspector for Picatinny Arsenal for many years.  He was an avid golfer and enjoyed the outdoors.

He was predeceased by his daughter Cheryl Howie and sister Janet Graham.

He is survived by his wife Barbara (nee Doucette) of 55years, son Glen Huntley of Roxbury Twp. and five grandchildren; Gordon, Scott, Jessica, Keith and Kevin.

A Memorial Visitation will be held 2-4pm on Sunday October 21, at the Bermingham Funeral Home, 216 S. Main St., Wharton.  A Funeral Service will be held 4pm at the Funeral Home. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations made in James’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association, www.alz.org, would be appreciated.
