Harry Norman Russell, Jr. – affectionately known as “Bud” or “Buddy” – passed away suddenly but peacefully at home on September 11th, 2024, after a brief illness. He was 69 years old. Born on March 17, 1955, to Harry and Irene Russell, Buddy grew up in Mine Hill alongside his sister Cathleen, and later settled down there with his wife of almost forty years, Debbie Russell.

An avid mini golfer, comic book collector, and Yankees fan, Buddy had a fun-loving nature and lively sense of humor. He was also a true animal lover, and doted on his cat, Maya.
Buddy was predeceased by his parents, Harry Russell in 2005 and Irene Russell in 2009.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie Russell of Mine Hill; sister, Cathleen Graham and her husband, Dennis Graham of Dover; nephew Dennis Graham, Jr. of Mine Hill; niece Kimberly Graham of Whippany; and great-niece Shayla Graham of Mine Hill.
