Gregory Clark Obituary

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, son, brother, and friend, Gregory Clark, on Saturday, October 25th, 2025.

He was born on August 17th, 1954 in Bronx, New York and raised in Queens, New York. He graduated from Stuyvesant High School at Carnegie Hall. He went on to Cornell University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and later, he received his Master of Arts at Pepperdine University in Counseling Psychology. After he received his degrees, he served in the military with the United States Marine Corps as 2nd Lieutenant for 4 years in which he stayed at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina and an overseas tour at Okinawa, Japan. In his time during the military, he also enjoyed being a DJ. He received an honorable discharge and continued to work in the Psychology and Business field throughout his career. He was a Corporate Recruiter before he retired in 2011.

He is survived by his daughter (Vanessa Clark), his mother (Janie Kelly), his sister (Shalima Clark), and five brothers (Kenyatta Clark, Alfonzo Clark, Frederick Clark, Shaloze Clark, and Philip Clark). He is also survived by his girlfriend (Bonita Allen), his daughter’s mother (Jean Clark), and a host of nieces, nephews, and relatives.

He was preceded in death by his father (Calvin Clark Sr.) and his twin daughter (Gina Clark).

Greg profoundly loved not only his family, but he was known all over town for being a marathon runner, a biker, and a strong, muscular athlete. He always called Planet Fitness at Succasunna, NJ as his home away from home and where his most favorite biking destination was in Central Park. He also enjoyed going to concerts, sports games, and Broadway shows, and he was always proud of his iTunes playlist where he always shared all the songs that he loved at family get-togethers. Gregory will always be remembered for his big smile, his unforgettable laugh, his insatiable sweet tooth, his goofy sense of humor, his warm hugs, his business savvy intelligence, his Hollywood kisses, his appreciation for classic films and blockbuster hits, and most of all, we will never forget Greg’s kindness and his love for life itself.

Visitation will be held 2-5pm on Saturday November 1, at the Bermingham Funeral Home, 216 S. Main St., Wharton.  Military Honors will be held at 4:45pm.  Interment will be private.
