Wharton: Gloria Imelda Heindl passed away peacefully on October 27, 2018 at Regency Grande Nursing Home in Dover. She was 86 years of age.
Gloria was born and raised in Guyana to the late Benjamin and Enid Hayes. She then moved to England to finish her Nursing Degree and lived in Wharton for over 50 years. She worked as a Registered Nurse at St. Clare’s Hospital in Denville and finished her career at the VA Hospital in East Orange.
She was predeceased by sisters; Maria Ellis and Colleen Hayes and brother Tony Hayes.
She is survived by two children; Abby Heindl and her boyfriend Frank Newman of Rockaway and David Heindl and his wife Janet of Succasunna, her grand dogs and grand cats, sister Bernice Breffka of Germany, nephew Oliver Breffka of Germany, nephew Martin Ellis of the UK and niece Sian Ellis of the UK.
Visitation will be held 5-8pm on Monday October 29, at the Bermingham Funeral Home, 216 S. Main St., Wharton. A Funeral Service will be held 10am on Tuesday at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Locust Hill Cemetery in Dover.
