Dover: Glen W. Berg, 66, of Dover, NJ, passed away surrounded by his family on Sunday, April 13, 2025. Glen earned his Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology and his Master’s Degree from Florida Institute of Technology. He was also a state licensed Professional Engineer and Project Management Professional. Glen proudly served his country as an Engineer at Picatinny Arsenal for forty-two years before retiring in 2024, and also worked as an adjunct professor at the County College of Morris and Florida Institute of Technology for more than twenty years.
Glen was an active member of his community, coaching Dover Little League Baseball and St. Mary’s C.Y.O. basketball for many years. Glen also enjoyed leading and participating in numerous St. Mary’s School, All Saints Academy, and Morris Catholic High School fundraisers. Glen loved to go to Yankee games, Washington D.C., and the annual family trip to Rhode Island that was always filled with lots of oysters, lobster, wine, and laughs. Glen loved golfing, playing trombone, seeing musicals, a good corny joke, and, as the ultimate dogfather, could talk to anyone about his dogs for hours.
Glen is survived by his loving wife of forty years, Judy; son Nicholas W. Berg and wife Christine of Allamuchy and daughter Danielle C. Andersen and husband Jerad of Hamburg. He will always be remembered as “Pop” to his three grandchildren - Lucy, Nicholas, and Angelina.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 21, 3-7 p.m. at the Bermingham Funeral Home, 216 S. Main St. Wharton.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, Dover.
Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Mine Hill.
