Geraldine P. (Re) Reichenbacher

Lake Hopatcong:  Geraldine Reichenbacher passed away on October 20, 2021, at St. Clare’s Dover General Hospital.  She was 80 years of age. Geraldine was born in Paterson, NJ on October 3, 1941.  She lived in Clifton until 1956, before moving to the Lake Hopatcong section of Jefferson Twp. where she lived her entire life.

Geraldine loved to cook and try new recipes.  She loved shopping and picking out gifts for others often.  She loved spending time with her family.  Geraldine married Gunther Reichenbacher on September 7, 1960.  Her husband predeceased her in 2009 after 50 years of marriage.  She was also predeceased by her father Anthony Re and her mother Yolanda Re (née Pollara).

Geraldine is survived by two sisters Rosanne Cinotti and her husband John of Lake Hopatcong and Catherine Ewan and her husband David of Greely, PA. along with her sister-in-law Gabe Spuckes and partner Bev Cramer of Cape Coral, Florida.  She has nine nieces and nephews, Deanna Kostelnik and husband Michael, John Fitzsimmons, Jr., Brian Ewan and wife Dora, Gary Ewan and husband Gregory, Kimberly Richardson and husband Hank, Danielle and her husband, Kristian Spuckes, Diane Hutchinson and her husband Rodger and Denise Roder.

A short visitation will be held 9:30am prior to the 10am funeral service at the Bermingham Funeral Home, 216 S. Main St., Wharton on Tuesday, October 26, 2021.  Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover.  In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to Sloan Kettering Morristown or the ASPCA.
