Gail E. (Hayford) DeMarco

Jefferson Twp.:  Gail E. DeMarco (née Hayford) passed away at Morristown Medical Center on Saturday, December 17, 2022.  She was 69 years of age.

Gail was born in Dover and lived in Mt. Tabor & Mountain Lakes before moving to the Lake Hopatcong section of Jefferson Township in 1979.

Mrs. DeMarco received her Bachelors and Masters degrees at Clarion University of Western Pennsylvania.  She was a devoted Special Education teacher at the Long Valley Middle School, retiring in 2016.  She previously worked at Jefferson, Randolph & Rockaway school districts.

Predeceased by her parents, Ellis Hayford and Doris (Burrow).

Survived by her husband of 44 years, Douglas J. DeMarco.

Son:  Douglas E. DeMarco and his wife Kristen of Succasunna.

Grandson:  Collin DeMarco.

Brother:  William Hayford of Wharton.

Sister:  Diane Sonnecken and husband Paul of Grosse Pointe, MI.

Nieces and Nephews:

Susan Sonnecken, Michael Sonnecken, John DeMarco, Tina Green, Jessica Manners & David DeMarco.

Services will be private.
