Roxbury Twp.: Frank A. Arico Jr. passed away suddenly on December 6, 2022 at his home in Succasunna. He was 88 years of age.
Frank was born in Dover, NJ to Frank and Josephine Arico on February 10, 1934. He graduated from Dover High School in 1951. He also graduated from Seton Hall University in 1955. While in college, he went through ROTC, leaving as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Military Police Corps. After serving for 2 years, he was honorably discharged and began his teaching career in the Rockaway Twp. School System where he taught for 38 years.
Frank joined the Ever Young Seniors of Roxbury in 1994, where he was an active member and was the trip coordinator for 16 years.
He was a member of the Randolph YMCA for over 20 years and a member of Sacred Heart Parish in Dover. He was also an avid bingo player.
A devoted father, he was predeceased by his wife Barbara in 1992.
He is survived by 2 sons; Michael and his wife Jane of Lincroft and David and his wife Danielle of Burlington, 2 granddaughters; Riley and Callie and 2 nieces; JoAnn Spilman and her husband Chris of Long Valley and Donna Aslanian of Montville. He also has relations in Sicily.
Visitation will be held 3-6pm on Friday December 9, at the Bermingham Funeral Home, 216 S. Main St., Wharton. A Funeral Mass will be held 9am on Saturday at St. Therese Church in Succasunna. Interment will follow at Locust Hill Cemetery in Dover.
