Francis J Lynch Jr., Beloved Father, Grandfather, and Great-Grandfather, Goes Home To be With the Lord at the age of 81.
Sparta NJ, 5/14/2023 - It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Francis (Frank) Lynch a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother who peacefully departed this world on 5/14/2023. He was surrounded by the love of his family as he embarked on his eternal journey to meet his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Frank was 81 years old.
Born on June 4th 1941 in Jersey City NJ, Frank lived a full life marked by a transformation in his later years, culminating in an unwavering faith in Jesus as his Lord and savior. He was the son of Francis J Lynch Sr and Sarah Lynch. Frank was raised in Hasbrouck Heights NJ where he attended Corpus Christi elementary and high school.
Frank served in the National Guard at Fort Drum and later had a successful career as a carpenter working on many construction projects throughout the states of NY and NJ. The later years of Frank’s life were marked by God’s grace of transformation, enabling him to play a role in instilling Christian values in his grandchildren. He modeled a sacrificial love by being there when his family needed him. His children were his pride and joy, and he was immensely proud of the individuals they each became.
As a grandfather, Frank cherished the moments he spent with his grandchildren. He delighted in the achievements and milestones of: Justin, Kurtis and his wife Nicole, James, Edward Jr, Isabella and her husband Bradley, Joshua, Jonathan Jr, Victoria, Rebekah, Abigail, David, Daniel, and Luke.
In recent years, Frank experienced the joy of becoming a great-grandfather to Lincoln and Elena. The knowledge of their existence, and the family’s devotion to bringing them up in the fear and admonition of the Lord, brought him immense happiness.
Having grown to become a man of deep faith, Frank was most recently a member of Freedom Church in Oak Ridge NJ, where through faithful attendance and fellowship he found solace, community, and spiritual nourishment. His commitment to his Christian beliefs was unwavering to the end, and he lived the final days of his life as a testament to God's love and grace. His dedication to his personal ministry to those God put in his life touched the lives of many.
In his free time, Frank enjoyed deep bible study and building computers. Whether it was an inductive bible study, straight bible reading, or engaging in thoughtful conversations with loved ones, he found joy in the simple pleasures of life. His warm smile, gentle demeanor, and willingness to listen to others endeared him to many who had the privilege of knowing him.
Frank is survived by his children and their spouses Edward Lynch Sr. and his wife Jennifer of Wellington, FL, Julia (Lynch) Neidhardt and her husband Jerome of Dover, NJ, Virginia (Lynch) Scotti and her husband Joseph of Hamburg, NJ, Christine (Lynch) Schiedlo and her husband Jonathan of Lafayette, NJ. Also his sister Sara (Lynch) Cottone and her husband Faro of Milford, PA, in addition to many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
