Frances (MacAvoy) Benjamin

Rockaway:  Francis Benjamin passed away peacefully on February 25, 2025 at her home in Rockaway.  She was 86 years of age.

A long time resident of Rockaway Borough, Frances was a past member of the Woman of Irish Heritage, of West Orange and past volunteer for Meals on Wheels.  Frances was an avid quilter and enjoyed all forms of sewing and needlework.

Frances is predeceased by her husband William and daughter Lois Patane.

She is survived by her 3 daughters; Eileen Gralski and her husband Tony, Ann and Mary Guiles and her wife Helen, 5 grandchildren; Anthony, Elizabeth, Alex, Allyson and Cerwidda.  As well as many nieces, nephews and dear family friends.

Visitation will be held 3-5:30pm on Monday March 3, at the Bermingham Funeral Home, 216 S. Main St., Wharton.  A Funeral Service will be held at 5:30pm.  Interment will be private.
