Floyd "Tom" Wilcox

It is with deepest sorrow, we announce the passing of Floyd Thomas (Tom) Wilcox, 72. Tom passed away peacefully on February 15th, 2023 at St. Clare's hospital in Denville, NJ, with his loving wife Kathy and his sister-in-law Susan Henderson by his side.

Tom was born in Scranton, PA on August 29, 1950. When Tom was a child, his family moved to Dover, NJ, where he grew up. Tom later moved to Pompano Beach, FL in 1976, where he met his wife Kathy in 1984. They returned to Dover in 2010. Tom loved spending time with his family and friends. He was an extremely talented musician, his passion was playing guitar. Tom was also an avid fishermen and loved the outdoors. There wasn't a fish he couldn't catch.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 34 years Kathy E. (Starling) Wilcox; and a sister, Winifred Wilcox. He is predeceased by his Father, Earl Freas Wilcox; his Mother, Patricia Ann (O'brien) Wilcox; and sister, Jean Marie Bauer. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023 from 1pm - 3pm at Bermingham Funeral Home, 216 S. Main St., Wharton, NJ. A Funeral Service will be held at 3pm.
