Elaine (Bogush) Pajewski

Jefferson Township:   Elaine Pajewski passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at home.  She was 79 years of age.

Elaine was born in Paterson and raised in Little Falls.  She lived in Montville for 42 years before moving to the Lake Shawnee section of Jefferson 15 years ago.

Mrs. Pajewski worked in the school cafeteria at Morris Catholic HS, Mt. Lakes HS and West Essex HS before retiring 15 years ago.

Elaine was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Church in Lake Hopatcong.

Her main focus during her life was to spend as much time with her family as she could which included vacationing as well as playing card games and boating on the lake with her grandchildren.

Survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Thaddeus.

Beloved son Scott and wife Kristan of Sparta along with their children, Madison & Thaddeus.

Dear daughter Kimberly Burrowes and husband Scott of Fairfield along with their children, Alexander, Zachary & Nicholas.

Cherished brother Harry Bogush and wife Mary of Columbia, NJ.

Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held 5-8pm on Friday, December 3, 2021 at the Bermingham Funeral Home, 216 S. Main St., Wharton.

A funeral mass will be held 10am on Saturday at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, 204 Espanong Rd., Lake Hopatcong, NJ 07849.

Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Elaine’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
