Obituary
Jefferson Twp.- Dr. Jack Batta passed away peacefully on June 8, 2023 at his home in Lake Hopatcong. He was 89 years of age.
Jack was born and raised in Roseland and has lived in the Lake Hopatcong section of Jefferson Twp. for the past 50 years. He was a US Army veteran. He worked as a Veterinarian at the Lake Hopatcong Animal Hospital. He devoted his life to animal wellness. He enjoyed going to the beach, especially enjoying his trips to Key West.
He is survived by his wife Kathleen Goritski.
Visitation will be held 2-5pm on Thursday June 15, at the Bermingham Funeral Home, 216 S. Main St., Wharton. A Funeral Service will be held 10am on Friday at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park in East Hanover.
