Mine Hill: Donald Charles Malcolm passed away on Monday, September 9, 2024 at Troy Hill Center, Parsippany. He was 86 years of age.
Donald graduated from Morris Hills in 1957 and joined the Army shortly after.
Mr. Malcolm worked at Rowe Manufacturing of Florham Park for 35 years until it closed. He tended bar at the Wharton American Legion, Post #91 for approximately 15 years where he was a member and was also a member of their award winning Color Guard. Don always looked forward to the Wildwoods Parades with the Legion each year. He also participated in a bowling league.
Don is survived by his wife Linda (née Rudalf)
Son: Don Malcolm and his wife Lisa. Grandchildren Jake & Jenna.
Step-Son: Sean May and his wife Anjanette. Granddaughters Shaelin & Kirin.
Step-Daughter: Kelly Matthew and her husband Carl & their son, Marques.
Best Friends & Brother-In-Laws: Charles Rudalf and his wife JoAnn, Robert Rudalf and his wife Dawne & James Rudalf and his wife Chris.
He has several nieces and nephews along with his best friends; his sister-in-law, Debbie Conklin and her husband Scott as well as Dorothy Malcolm (Sister-in-law).
Visitation will be 4-7pm on Friday, September 13, 2024 at the Bermingham Funeral Home, 216 S. Main St., Wharton.
A Legion Service and military honors will be held at the end of the visitation.
Interment will be private.
