Delores (Dee) H. (Houck) Mertz

Wharton:  Delores H. Mertz, resident of Wharton, NJ passed away on November 12, 2024 at Morristown Medical Center after an illness for several months.

She was born in Coatesville, PA, daughter of the late Duane D. Houck and Gladys Pfitzemmeyer,  She was also predeceased by her sister Diane Rhode. 

She is survived by her husband Peter J. Mertz, daughter Stephanie A. Mertz, son Stephen J. Mertz, 2 granddaughters; Whitney A. Ball and Kyliegh R. Kusek and brother Dwight D. Houck.

Visitation will be held 3-6pm on Sunday November 17, at the Bermingham Funeral Home, 216 S. Main St., Wharton.  A Funeral Service will be held 5:30pm on Sunday.  Interment will be at 1pm on Monday November 18, at the Honey Brook United Methodist Cemetery in Honey Brook, PA.
