Deborah Lynn (Dodson) Ryan

Deborah Lynn Ryan (née Dodson) passed away on August 17, 2021 at home in West Palm Beach Florida, surrounded by her husband and daughters, after a heroic battle with Multiple Myeloma.

She was born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania but was raised in Wharton, New Jersey by the late Andrew and Inge Dodson and graduated from Morris Hills High School. When she married her husband John, they moved to the Indian Lake section of Denville, NJ where they raised their 3 daughters. Debbie later moved to Hilton Head Island, SC and then settled in West Palm Beach, Florida where she lived for the past 21 years.

Debbie was known to all who knew her as outgoing, friendly, generous, and loving.

She leaves behind her beloved husband of 34 years, John F. Ryan of West Palm Beach, FL, whom she loved with all of her heart; her beloved daughters: Jennifer Curnow and husband Timothy of Morris Plains, NJ, Jessica Neel and husband Wyllie of Columbia, SC, and Kimberly Strickland and husband Brad of Simpsonville, SC; and 6 grandchildren to who she was known as Grammie: Kaydence, T.J, Lily, Tyler, Jake and Colin, all of whom she loved to the moon and back. She also leaves behind her cherished sister Darlene, her sisters & brothers in law and several nieces and nephews.

She was also a devoted and valued friend ~ she will be in all of our hearts forever and will never be forgotten!

Services will be on Saturday, August 28th, 2021. Visitation will be from 1-3 pm and all are invited to stay for the memorial service which will begin immediately following.
