Daniel J. Severini, Sr.

Lake Shawnee: Daniel Joseph Severini, Sr. passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 68 years of age.

Dan was born in Somerville, NJ and was raised in Wharton before settling in the Lake Shawnee section of Jefferson Twp. In 1982.

Mr. Severini was the owner/operator of Severini Plumbing and Heating which he started in 1982.

His passion was fly fishing the rivers and saltwater fishing with his buddies down Sandy Hook. He loved his family and enjoyed vacations with them by the beach or ocean and he also enjoyed riding bikes with them along with antiquing. He valued his lifelong friendships along with business associates who became friends over the years. His grandchildren were close to his heart and he loved them dearly. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him.

Predeceased by his parents, Joseph H and Carol (née Cowen).

His wife of 42 years, Patricia (née Wright)

Three Sons: Daniel J., Jr.

                     Dale M. and his wife Bonnie.

                     Jamie L.

Two Grandchildren: Jackson and Finley.

Two Brothers:  Jody and his wife Becky.

                          Matt.

Two Sisters: Carol Lally and husband Matt.

                      Clare Mills and husband Stuart.

Visitation will be held 1-5pm on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at the Bermingham Funeral Home, 216 S. Main St., Wharton, NJ.

A funeral service will be held 5pm after the visiting at funeral home.

Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Dan's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital would be appreciated.
